Are you ready for an adventure at Matang Wildlife Centre? Located about 35 km from Kuching, this amazing sanctuary is a must-visit. Don't worry about transportation, we've got you covered. While there is no direct bus service to the park, you can easily hop on Matang Transport Co. bus No. 21. Keep in mind that this bus doesn't go all the way to the Wildlife Centre, but no worries, we'll show you the way. Simply ask to be dropped off at the turning for the Polytechnic. From there, you might be lucky enough to catch a local mini-bus (bos sewa), but be aware that the service is a bit irregular. Keep an eye out for a small white bus, and if you spot one, flag it down and ask the driver to drop you off at the Centre. If buses aren't your thing, you can always opt for a taxi. The one-way taxi fare is RM60, and we assure you it'll be a comfortable ride. Once you've had an incredible time at Matang Wildlife Centre, you might be wondering how to get back to Kuching. Don't worry, we've got that covered too. Park rangers can arrange a transport for you by calling the driver of bus No 21 to pick you up at the wildlife center. The fare for this convenient service is only RM10. Just make sure to arrange this beforehand and enjoy a worry-free journey back to town. So pack your bags and get ready for an unforgettable experience at Matang Wildlife Centre!
