Maragogi, located on the AL-101 highway, is approximately 125km north of Macei. To reach Maragogi from Macei, you can take a van from the rodoviaria. The cost of the van ride is R$23 (March 2021). If you are travelling from Recife, there are no direct buses, but you can find frequent rides offered on Blablacar. The maximum price for a Blablacar ride is R$33. Some drivers even offer this route as a job, and they may only start the ride once multiple passengers have booked it.
