Majete Wildlife Reserve, managed by African Parks (Majete) Ltd., is a conservation project in Malawi. Established in 2003, the aim is to restore and develop the reserve to demonstrate the importance of biodiversity conservation and sustainable natural resource utilization. African Parks, in collaboration with the Malawi government, has been restocking the reserve with a variety of game species including black rhino, buffalo, waterbuck, zebra, and many more. The initial phase of the project involved the construction of an intermediate fence, enclosing 14,000 hectares where the restocking takes place. Infrastructure upgrades have also been carried out, including the construction of roads, scout houses, administration facilities, and a luxurious tented camp. The future plan is to complete the perimeter fence, allowing the game animals to freely disperse throughout the entire Majete Wildlife Reserve.

It's often served with a variety of sauces, including fish, chicken, beef, or vegetables such as beans, cabbage, or spinach. Nsima is usually eaten by hand, pulling small portions into one's mouth. Chicken and peanut stew, also known as Chitenje, is another popular dish in Malawi. This stew is made using chicken cooked with groundnuts (peanuts), tomatoes, onions, and a variety of spices. The recipe varies depending on regional influences, but it typically features a rich, deep flavor that is both spicy and aromatic.
