The ferries can accommodate both cars and passengers, making it easy to take your own vehicle. Prices start at $89 for vehicle transportation, including up to 6 passengers. Another option is Sunferries, operating passenger ferry services daily between Townsville and Magnetic Island. With their frequent departures, you won't have to wait long to start your adventure. Tickets for adults are $15.50 one way, and $29 for a return trip. Children and pensioners can enjoy discounted rates. The ferry ride to Magnetic Island takes around half an hour, allowing you to enjoy the stunning views as you approach the island.
