## REACHING THE TOWN OF MADESIMO ## To reach the charming town of Madesimo, you have a few travel options: - By Road: The only way to access Madesimo is by road. You can take the SS36 or Via Spluga, which stretches all the way from the Swiss border to Lecco on Lake Como. From Lecco, the SP51 road leads to Milan, the nearest airport. Therefore, having a car is highly recommended for your visit. - Splugen Pass: Please note that the Splugen Pass is usually closed between November and April. If the pass is closed, the town can only be reached from Chiavenna. - Bus and Train: If you prefer public transportation, there are good bus and train connections available from Milan and Bergamo, as well as from the Milan airports. - Taxi Share: Additionally, there is a convenient "taxi share" scheme that provides transportation from the airport to the village. ##
