If you're staying at one of the resorts in the Lhaviyani Atoll, you have the option of reaching them by seaplane from Velena International Airport. These scenic flights will take you directly to your destination, allowing you to soak in breathtaking aerial views of the Maldives. The seaplane journey typically takes around 20-30 minutes, ensuring a quick and hassle-free transfer. While seaplane transfers are a popular choice, some resorts in the Lhaviyani Atoll also offer speedboat transfers. However, it's worth noting that these transfers can take a couple of hours and may not be recommended if the sea conditions are rough, particularly when crossing the Male Atoll to reach the Lhaviyani Atoll.
