From the north, look for the Val di Chiana exit. Once you're on the Val di Chiana, follow the SS73 towards the enchanting city of Perugia. As you navigate towards your destination, be sure to soak in the breathtaking views along the way. If you prefer to travel by train, there's an excellent railway line from Perugia to Terontola-Cortona. This picturesque route passes to the north of the Trasimeno Lake, with stations conveniently located at Magione, Torricella, Passignano, and Tuoro sul Trasimeno. At Terontola, you can seamlessly connect to the main line between Rome and Florence, making your journey even more remarkable.
