Located in the middle of the road P108 between Ventspils (a sea port in the west) and Saldus (50km southeast from Kuldiga), this town has so much to offer. If you're coming from Riga, the capital city, or Liepaja, another sea port, you'll find Kuldiga right in the middle along the road A9. Although passenger trains are currently canceled on this line, you can still reach Kuldiga by railway from Saldus, which connects to Liepaja and Jelgava. If you're coming from Liepaja, you can take a shortcut via Aizpute town using the road P112, which will lead you directly to Kuldiga.
