Kokanee Creek Provincial Park, with its captivating trails, can be accessed through various routes. However, the main access route is via Gibson Lake, which adds a touch of adventure to your journey. This route, approximately 13 km from Kokanee Creek Provincial Park on Hwy 3B along the North Shore, offers a thrilling drive with its rough and steep terrain. Nature enthusiasts and hikers can appreciate the challenge this exhilarating drive adds to the overall experience. Once you reach Gibson Lake, the real adventure begins with a two-to-three-hour hike to Kaslo Lake, where the mesmerizing Kokanee Cabin and campground await your arrival. Immerse yourself in the breathtaking surroundings as you explore the trails and fully embrace the natural wonders of the park. Should you wish to explore alternate access roads and trails, keep in mind that they are less frequently used and tend to be more remote and rugged. These options include Keen Creek, which is mostly overgrown inside the park, and Enterprise Creek. Woodbury Creek is another route, leading you to the Woodbury and Silverspray Cabins nestled on the park's eastern side. These paths offer a more challenging and off-the-beaten-path experience for seasoned hikers and adventurers.
