Ko Ngai, also known as Ko Hai, is a stunning island located in Amphoe Ko Lanta of Krabi. However, it is classified as a tourist destination off Trang because it is easier to access from there. You can reach Ko Ngai from Trang's Pak Meng Pier, which is just 15 km away on the mainland. Standard ferries will take you there in about one hour. Alternatively, you can rent a boat for a more private and customizable experience. The cost for a boat rental ranges from 1,500 baht for 10 people to 6,000-10,000 baht for 20-40 people. For those looking to save time, a faster speedboat connection is also available, taking only 20 minutes. If you are already in Ko Lanta, you have the convenience of a scheduled ferry service to Ko Ngai. During high season (November - April), you can also opt to rent a private longtail boat from Saladan in Ko Lanta. Another option is to join a snorkeling trip from Ko Lanta and hop off the boat at Ko Ngai to explore its beauty. To make your journey even more convenient, Nok Air offers three-daily flight+ferry services from Bangkok to Ko Ngai. By flying with Nok Air to Trang and then transferring on a ferry, you can seamlessly reach this paradise. Bookings for this service can be made directly on the Nok Air website.
