These planes will bring you directly to Dewandaru Airport, which is located on Kemujan island. The airport has a sealed 900 meter runway, ensuring a smooth landing. Once you arrive, the airport is only 25 kilometers away from the main village. If you prefer a more adventurous journey, you can take a ferry from Jepara. The ferry trip takes about 5 hours and costs Rp 60,000. Be sure to arrive at the port before 6 a.m. as the ferry sometimes departs earlier than scheduled. The ferry departs at 7 a.m. and operates four times a week. For a quicker option, you can choose to take a speedboat from Jepara to Karimunjava. The speedboat, operated by Express Bahari, will get you to your destination in just 2 hours. The cost for this option is Rp 150,000. Please note that during high season, it is recommended to book your speedboat in advance. You can do this at the office located along the street in Jepara port or ask your hotel for assistance. It's important to keep in mind that boat services are only available when the waves are none to medium. You can check the wave prediction online at [1].
