The cost of a one-way bus ticket from the airport is about 2,100 yen, while the bus from Kagoshima Chuo Station is around 1,500 yen. The airport bus takes the Higashi Kyushu Expressway, providing a scenic route to Kirishima. The bus to Kanoya takes local roads, and the journey usually takes around 2 hours. Look for the number 4 bus stop in front of the ticket counter on the outside sidewalk. For the most convenient transportation in Kanoya, it is recommended to rent a car. Rental agencies offer shuttles from the airport to their locations, where you can pick up your car. Just make sure to request an English GPS if you are not fluent in Japanese.
