If you're starting your journey from Guangzhou, the easiest way to reach Kaiping is by taking a bus from Fangcun Bus Station located at Kengkou Metro Station. It's a direct route that takes about 2 hours and costs 57. If you're coming from Hong Kong, you can take a luxurious 'limousine' bus from Portland street. These comfortable buses depart at 8:30, 14:00, 15:30, and 19:00. You'll make a stop at the Shenzhen border station, where you'll need to go through customs. The total journey to Yicizhan should take around 4 hours and cost 130. Travelers from Shenzhen can catch a direct bus to or from Kaiping at the bus terminal next to the train station. Alternatively, you can also take a bus from Shenzhen Bao'an Station to Kaiping, which takes around 3.5 hours. For those starting their adventure from Macau, you'll need to take the border crossing to Zhuhai and then find a bus station about 100m to the right along the main road after you exit the border control building. The ride to Kaiping should take a little more than 2 hours and cost 70. If you're on Hong Kong Island, you can take a bus to Kaiping with 2 stops: Shuikou or Yici.
