Get ready for an unforgettable trip to Jiuzhaigou! The journey to this breathtaking destination is filled with adventure and stunning scenery. You can start your trip from Chengdu, Chongqing, or Xi'an. Although Jiuzhaigou is relatively close to these cities, the journey takes around 8 to 11 hours due to the winding mountain roads. But don't worry, the views along the way are absolutely worth it! If you're traveling during the rainy season, be prepared for possible road closures. In that case, you might have to spend the night in Dujiangyan City before continuing your journey the next day. If you prefer to fly, there are various airlines that offer flights between Chengdu and Jiuzhaigou Huanglong airport. From there, you can easily reach the park entrance by taxi or airport shuttle bus. Exploring Huanglong is also a must-do activity, and you can visit this beautiful place within 4 hours. For those who enjoy road trips, you can take a public bus from Chengdu to Jiuzhaigou, with departures available at Xinnanmen and Chadianzi bus stations. Another option is to take a bus from Songpan, Huanglongsi National Park, or Lanzhou.
