Jinhae offers various transportation options to make your journey a breeze. The easiest and most convenient way to reach Jinhae is by bus. From Seoul's Nambu Terminal, multiple services run throughout the day, with a travel time of approximately 4 hours and a cost of around 25000 won. If you are coming from Daegu, Ulsan, or Busan, you can also take a direct bus to Jinhae. Buses from Busan run every 15 minutes, taking around 45 minutes to an hour and costing 5100 won. These buses start at Busan's Seobu terminal in Sasang (subway line no.2/Busan-Gimhae light rail) and make stops at Hadan (subway line no.1) before heading to Jinhae.
An alternative option is to take a bus or train to Changwon and then catch local bus 151 to Jinhae. The bus stop is located to the right of the entrance of Changwon bus terminal and around the corner. Keep in mind that knowing some Korean and having keen eyes to find the bus stop will be helpful for this option. If you choose this route, make sure to get off at the Jinhae high school bus stop.
For travelers arriving at specific airports:
- Incheon Airport: Take an express bus from Incheon Airport to Changwon, and from there, catch a bus or taxi to Jinhae. The travel time is approximately 5 hours and 30 minutes.
- Gimpo Airport: Take the subway from Gimpo Airport to Express Bus Terminal (Line 9), transfer to line 3, and get off at Nambu bus terminal. From there, board the express bus to Jinhae. The travel time is approximately 5 hours and 30 minutes.
- Busan Gimhae Airport: From Gimhae Airport, take the Busan-Gimhae light rail to Sasang. Follow the signs for the bus terminal and board the bus to Jinhae from there. The travel time is approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes.
