If you want to travel from Copenhagen to Hillerd, you can take a train that departs once or twice an hour and takes around 1 hour to reach Hillerd. There is also an express train between 6am and 5pm that provides even faster service. If you prefer to drive, you can follow route 16 (Hillerdmotorvejen) all the way from Copenhagen to Hillerd. Just be aware that route 16 breaks from the highway just east of Hillerd (Frederiksvrk exit). Additionally, there are good connections with the S-train system in Hillerd, which are timed with the departures and arrivals of the trains. For those who prefer a ferry ride, there is a ferry across the Isefjord from Hillerd to Rrvig that takes only 20 minutes. However, please note that the ferry service is scaled back outside the busy summer season (06-18). Additionally, there is a shorter ferry crossing from Slvager to Kulhuse in Hornsherred, which claims to be the shortest ferry crossing in the country at just 8 minutes.
