Traveling to Lima: By Air: You can fly to Lima with StarPeru and LC Peru, both of which offer one daily flight. By Bus: If you prefer to travel by bus, there are direct buses to Lima that take approximately 8 hours on a well-maintained, paved road. G&M Internacional, Transportes Leoncido Prado, Transportes Transamaznica, and several other companies provide reliable service. Traveling to Huancayo: If you are heading to Huancayo, you can take a bus from Turismo Central, which has several departures per day. The journey usually takes around 7 hours. To Cerro de Pasco/La Oroya: For a trip to Cerro de Pasco, you can take a colectivo, which takes approximately 2 hours. If you plan to visit La Oroya, combis are available but less frequent, and the journey takes about 3 hours. Both depart from the Control at Acahauyna. To Tingo Mara/Pucallpa: There are numerous buses that go to Tingo Mara, with a travel time of around 3 hours. Some of these buses continue on to Pucallpa, which adds an extra 8 hours to the journey, making it a total of 11 hours. It is advisable to travel to Pucallpa during the day due to occasional attacks on buses. Transportes Leoncido Prado, Transportes Transamaznica, Turismo Las Brisas, and Turismo Central serve this route. To La Unin/Huaraz: The journey from Lima to La Unin takes approximately 5 hours by bus or 3.5 hours by colectivo. Several bus companies on Jr. Tarapac provide transportation for this route. From La Unin, it is also possible to continue on to Huaraz. Paraiso Natural offers bus trips from La Unin to Huaraz twice daily, with a travel time of 5 hours.
