Horsley Hills is a popular destination that can be reached from Bangalore or Chennai. From Chennai, you can take the Poonthamalli High Road and continue on NH4 before reaching Wallajah. From there, follow the road to Chittoor and eventually reach Madanapalle. From Madanapalle, take NH205 and Horsley Hills is just 16 km away. If you're coming from Bangalore, start on NH-4 and pass through Krishnaraja Puram, Hoskote, and Kolar. From Kolar, head to Srinivaspur and then Rayalpadu, which marks the entry into Andhra Pradesh. Continue on to Madanapalle and then follow the road to Kadiri and Anantpur before turning towards Horsley Hills. There are also alternate routes available, such as the one through Chintamani, Rayalpadu, Madanapalli, and Horsley Hills, which is shorter and saves about 30 km. Another option is the route through Chintamani, Gownipally, B.Kothakota, and Horsley Hills, which is considered the best among all routes. If you prefer to travel by rail, Horsley Hills is connected to Hyderabad, Dharmavaram, and Tirupati. The nearest railhead is Madanapalle Road, which can be reached by the Dharmavaram-Tirupati passenger train or the Secunderabad-Tirupati Express. Those traveling by bus can easily find buses from Bangalore to Madanapalli. From Madanapalli, there is only one bus to Horsley Hills, which leaves in the morning and evening. Once you reach the bus station, take the 'Kotha Kota' bus, which will bring you to the base of the hill. From there, private vans are available to take you up to the top of the hill.]
