Get in
Getting to this area from anywhere else in Honolulu is a breeze. All you have to do is hop on the westbound H1 freeway and follow it in. Along the way, you'll pass by some of the main points of interest, including the Bishop Museum, the airport, and Pearl Harbor. If you're coming from Waikiki or Honolulu, just take Ala Moana Boulevard and follow it west. It will eventually turn into the Nimitz Highway and merge onto the H1 near the airport. If you prefer public transportation, there are several bus routes that connect Waikiki and Downtown with the airport and Pearl Harbor. Route #19 and #20 will get you there, with the #20 continuing past Pearl Harbor. The #42 is another option if you're planning to visit Kalihi and the Bishop Museum. So, getting to this area is not only convenient but also accessible for everyone.
