Start your journey by taking a songthaew from Trat to Ban Khlong Yai, for only 80 baht, then continue your border-crossing adventure with another songthaew for the remaining 15 km. A word of caution: keep an eye out for overpriced transport scams at the border if entering from Cambodia. If anyone tries to steer you away from the minibuses or songthaews, simply walk away and head towards the police checkpoint nearby.
