How to Get There
If you're planning a trip to Norheimsund, here are some ways you can get there:
By Car
If you're coming from Bergen, you can take the scenic route by following E39 to Arna and then enter E16, which will take you all the way to Norheimsund (74km).
If you're coming from Voss, you can follow RV13 south to Granvin (26km).
If you're coming from Oslo, you can follow E18 to Drammen, then take E134 to Kongsberg and finally follow RV40 for about 150km until you enter RV7. This road will lead you to Eidfjord, and from there it's a short distance to Norheimsund (328km).
By Bus
If you prefer public transportation, you can take a bus from Bergen, Voss, or Oslo to Norheimsund. Skyss operates the Hardangerline from Bergen to Norheimsund, ystese, and Odda. Nor-way Bussekspress operates a line from Oslo to Odda. Skyss also operates lines to Odda, Granvin, ystese, and Norheimsund from Voss.
By Train
If you're coming from Oslo, you can take the NSB railway to Voss and then use a bus from Voss to Norheimsund.
By Boat
While there are no boat lines serving Hardanger, you can still sail here in your own boat. Follow the Hardangerfjord to Norheimsund, where you'll find a well-equipped guest harbor.
