Traveling from Kigali to Gisenyi is a breeze! Buses run multiple times a day and the journey takes approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes to 3 hours. If you're in Kibuye, don't worry - there's at least one bus a day between Kibuye and Gisenyi. To reach Musanze from Gisenyi, hop on a minibus which will take about 2 hours. These minibuses usually depart when full, but some also follow a fixed schedule. You'll find Gisenyi Bus Station near the Petite Barriere border crossing on the main road.
