Gaziantep, previously known as Antep, is a city with a rich history in southeast Turkey. It is considered one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the world. Located 185 kilometers northeast of Adana and 97 kilometers north of Aleppo, Syria, it holds a strategic position. With a population of over 1.9 million, it is the sixth most populous city in Turkey.
