Are you ready for an adventurous journey from Kangding to Ganzi? Hop on a bus at 6:00 a.m. and get ready for a thrilling ride that will last 12-14 hours. Keep in mind that the road conditions might not be perfect, but don't worry, they are currently being renovated. Just make sure to avoid sitting at the back of the bus to avoid feeling the intense bumps throughout the trip. Don't forget your mask to protect yourself from the endless smoking and the massive amount of dust you'll encounter along the way. If you're coming from Chengdu, there's also a convenient bus that leaves at 10:00 a.m. from Xinnanmen Bus Station. This bus will take you to Kangding by 6-7 p.m., where you can stay overnight and continue your adventure the next day at 6:00 a.m. Remember, there's affordable and comfortable accommodation available in Kangding, just ask around or look for pictures. And guess what? The construction of the Dege-Kangding road is finally complete, making the journey much smoother. The bus from Dege to Kangding will even stop for lunch in Ganzi around 11 a.m. If you're traveling from Tagong to Garz, there's a public bus leaving at 8:20 a.m. across from the square. Just wave it down and ask if it's headed to Garz. So, are you ready for an epic adventure?
