Are you ready to explore the enchanting island of Evvia? Here's how you can get there: Evvia is connected to the mainland by a suspension bridge and an old lifting bridge. These bridges are located near the main Evvia town of Halkida. It's a picturesque way to start your journey. If you're coming from Thessaloniki - Athens highway and past Volos, you can take the exit near Glifa. From there, you can catch a ferry to Agiokambos. The ferry runs approximately every 30 minutes until around 8 pm, and the ride takes about 30 minutes. It's a convenient option if you're traveling from that direction. If you're coming from Athens, there are ferries from Arkitsa to Loutra Edipsou. These ferries will take you to Evvia's southern region. There are also ferries connecting Southern Evvia with Atika, providing another option if you're coming from Athens. So, whether you choose to cross the bridges or take a ferry, get ready to experience the wonders of Evvia!
