Easdale, the smallest permanently-inhabited island of the Inner Hebrides, off Scotland's west coast, was once the center of the British slate industry. Despite its small size, spanning less than 10 hectares, it boasts a vibrant community of around 70 residents and a number of regular visitors who own property on the island. Situated in the beautiful Firth of Lorn, Easdale is closely linked to the neighboring village of Ellenabeich, both geographically and culturally, sharing a common heritage.
