If you're planning a trip to Donetsk, there are several ways to reach this city. One option is to fly directly to Donetsk airport (DOK) from Kyiv, Munich, Istanbul or Vienna. Alternatively, if you are in Ukraine, you can choose to travel by train, take a domestic flight, or drive by car. The drive from Kyiv can take from 6 to 8 hours, depending on your speed and the number of stops you make. There is also a direct train available once or twice a week from Almaty, Kazakhstan, passing through Atyrau and Volgograd. However, please note that you will need a Russian transit visa, which can be quite expensive. Make sure to plan your journey accordingly and enjoy your visit to Donetsk!
