Get in
Looking to explore the beautiful Don Det island? From Ban Nakasang, you can easily reach Don Det in just 10 minutes by taking a thrilling longtail boat ride. Once you arrive, you have the option to walk or take a tuk-tuk to the south end of the island. The walk along the west side of the island is a pleasant 3-kilometer journey. If you have a bus ticket, it may already include the transfer, saving you some money. However, if you're not a ticket holder, the "list price" for the transfer is 15,000 kip one way. And here's a hidden gem: if you cross the old French railway bridge from Don Det, you'll gain access to the breathtaking Li Phi falls at no additional cost. Keep in mind that the cost for tourists is 35,000 kip, while locals pay 5,000 kip. Although the toll is not always enforced on the bridge itself, it's recommended to pay if you want to visit the falls, as tickets are checked there. Get ready for an unforgettable adventure!
