Get in

Getting to Mamallapuram from Kars is a bit more complicated. There are no direct buses, but you can take a bus from Kars to Idr and then transfer to Doubeyazt by minibus. The road between Idr and Doubeyazt offers beautiful views of Mt Ararat along the way. Please note that this information is valid as of May 27, 2014.

If you're coming from Van, there are several minibusses available to take you to Mamallapuram. Additionally, you can find minibusses from Agri that cost around 15TL per person. For those coming from Istanbul, there is also a 24-hour coach option.
