Dehradun, situated at an altitude of 1,400 ft in the beautiful Doon Valley, is a town located between two important rivers in India, the Ganga and Yamuna. This charming town serves as an ideal base for exploring the numerous tourist sites in the surrounding area. With a population of around 1,250,000, Dehradun has undergone remarkable growth in recent years. It is also renowned for housing the prestigious Doon School, often referred to as the Eton of India. While not in the limelight, Dehradun is also proud to be the home of the Rashtriya Indian Military College (RIMC), which has produced exceptional soldiers on both sides of the borders.
