Get in
The Crowsnest Pass, located in the southwestern part of Alberta, Canada, is a stunning destination that offers a variety of ways to reach it. If you prefer to travel by car, you can easily access the pass from either the east or west on Highway 3, or from the north on the adventurous Highway 940. However, please note that the latter route is recommended only for those driving a 4x4 or SUV due to its rough terrain. For those coming from Calgary, which is approximately 269 km away, I highly recommend taking the scenic Highway 22 via Black Diamond and Longview. This picturesque route, also known as the Cowboy Trail, will captivate you with its breathtaking views. If you prefer not to drive, there are other transportation options available. Greyhound offers service to Blairmore, with stops in the smaller towns along the way. Additionally, you can hire a private mini-bus from CNP Shuttle for a more convenient and personalized journey between Calgary, Lethbridge, and the Crowsnest Pass. During the ski season, you can even arrange for a chartered ski bus from Calgary airport, which will drop you off en-route. However, please note that you will need to travel to Fernie to catch the return journey. So, whether you choose to explore this beautiful destination by car or opt for alternative transportation, the Crowsnest Pass promises an unforgettable experience.
