Alternatively, you can embark on a thrilling auto-rickshaw adventure straight from the ferry, for a bit more with around 100 Rps. For those traveling by road from Trisur, the best route is through Kodangalur and Poovar, finally reaching Cherai. On the other hand, if you're starting your journey from Ernakulam, take the NH to Poovar and continue on the SH to Cherai for an incredible road trip experience.
