With its laid-back vibe, abundance of restaurants and bars, and relatively cheap prices, Caye Caulker has something for everyone. While there aren't any proper beaches on the island, don't worry! There are plenty of docks where you can relax under the sun. Pull up a plastic chair, soak in the ocean views, and enjoy the island life. And if you're feeling adventurous, head over to "The Split," a popular swimming area. And the best part? The Lazy Lizard Bar is just a few steps away, so you can quench your thirst after a refreshing swim. Exploring the island is a breeze since there are only three sandy roads. Front Street hugs the east coast, Back Street follows the west coast, and Middle Street is right where you'd expect it. Most of the places of interest can be found along Front Street and the west coast. The main roads that run from north to south are Front Street, Middle Street, Back Street, and Back Back Street. And let's not forget about the numerous East-West roads! Caye Caulker is a melting pot of cultures, influenced by Mestizo, Garifuna, and Creole traditions. With a population of approximately 2,000 inhabitants, the center of the island is simply known as Caye Caulker Village. Get ready to immerse yourself in the vibrant local atmosphere as you explore this charming island getaway.
