If you are coming from other cities in the Philippines, the most convenient way is to fly to Iloilo International Airport (IATA: ILO). This airport receives flights from major cities like Manila, Cebu, Cagayan de Oro, Davao, General Santos, Tacloban, Puerto Princesa, Singapore, and Hong Kong. Air Asia, Cebu Pacific, and Philippine Airlines are the airlines that serve this airport. For those heading to Carles, the nearest airport is Roxas Airport (IATA: RXS). This airport offers domestic flights from Cebu and Manila. From there, you can easily reach Carles. If you are planning to visit Sicogon Island, there is an airstrip called Sicogon Airstrip (IATA: ICO) that can accommodate light aircraft. However, it's important to note that the navigation facilities are limited. The airstrip is located on the northwest side of Mt. Opao.
