Get in
Campo Grande, located in Brazil, has an airport that offers flights from several major airlines such as TAM, Gol, Azul, Trip, and Oceanair. The airport is conveniently situated just 7 km away from the downtown area. To travel from the airport to the city, tourists have the option to take a bus or taxi. However, there is no shuttle bus service available. If you choose to take the bus, there is a bus stop located about 50 meters to the right of the main avenue right in front of the airport. This is a great option for those looking to save some money on transportation. For those planning to explore other cities in Brazil, interstate buses are available from Campo Grande to various destinations. These include Corumbá, which is located on the border with Bolivia and takes about 5-6 hours to reach. Bonito, known for its natural beauty in Mato Grosso do Sul, is also accessible by bus from Campo Grande. Another popular destination is Iguazu Falls, which can be reached by bus from Campo Grande. If you are heading to Sao Paulo or Rio de Janeiro, be prepared for longer bus journeys of 13 to 15 hours and 20 hours respectively. It's worth noting that Campo Grande recently opened a new bus terminal in February 2010. The terminal is located approximately 6 km from downtown Campo Grande. Tourists arriving at the bus terminal have the option to reach the city by local bus lines, which depart from the bus stop in front of the new terminal, or by taxi for a more convenient and comfortable travel experience.
