Understand
Explore the remote and thrilling journey to the cape! Accessible by boat or a challenging trek, this adventure is not for the faint of heart. Prepare for a 4+ day round trip filled with rocky beaches, river crossings, and the breathtaking Cruz de los Mares marking the end of the American continent. Embarking on this trek requires careful planning, as the rocky beaches and river crossings must be timed with low tides. It is highly recommended to have a companion on this journey due to the remote and dangerous nature of the territory. While ships pass in the distance, signaling for help from these vessels can be possible with the right equipment. Remember that the path is not well-marked, but you can always follow the coastline or inland to find your way back. Before setting off on this epic adventure, make sure to consult the tide tables at shoa.cl [1] to ensure your safety and enjoyment. Check the tide tables for Punta Arenas and plan accordingly. Get ready for an unforgettable experience!
