Many travelers choose to journey to Newfoundland either by ferry from North Sydney, Nova Scotia or by flying into Gander International Airport or St. John's International Airport. The ferry options include the Town of Port aux Basques on the southwest coast or the terminus in Argentia (available seasonally). These transportation options provide convenient access to the beautiful Bonavista Peninsula. To reach the charming Town of Bonavista, there are three access points on the Bonavista Peninsula. The first option is the western access junction at Port Blandford (Route 233). The second option is the Bonavista Overpass (Route 230), and the third option is the Town of Clarenville (Route 230-A).
