Have you ever heard of Bialowieza? It is a sacred place, the last surviving fragment of the ancient primeval forest that once stretched across Europe after the ice age. This forest, which has miraculously escaped complete deforestation, is home to a variety of extraordinary creatures that once roamed freely throughout the continent. It is the last refuge for magnificent European Bison, majestic Wolves, elusive Lynx, graceful Red Deer, wild boisterous Wild Boar, grand Elk (the same as Moose in North America), and charming Roe Deer. These creatures coexist in harmony, but sadly many others have been driven to the brink of extinction. However, there is hope for a brighter future! There are plans to reintroduce reverse-bred versions of the extinct Tarpan Horse and Aurochs, which can be observed in other smaller nature parks and zoos across Europe. The innermost sanctuary of Bialowieza is magnificently preserved and protected by a sturdy fence, allowing only guided tours for lucky visitors. Step into this magical realm with Nature Tours "Pygmy Owl" led by the knowledgeable guide, Arek Szymura. For more information, visit [3]. Inside this sanctuary, the forest pulsates with life, echoes with ancient breaths, and gracefully decays, just as it has done for thousands of years. Beyond the inner-sanctuary lies several kilometers of semi-preserved forest, but sadly, reports of tree thinning and cutting have surfaced. Allegedly, disease is the culprit, but deep down, it appears that corruption and the insatiable demand for large trees are the true cause. In order to protect this invaluable treasure, additional kilometers of forest protection boundary should be implemented as a buffer zone.
