Embark on a fascinating journey from Kolkata! Start by taking a train from Howrah (Calcutta) to Bhadrak, which is approximately 297 km away. From Bhadrak, you can take a vehicle to Chandbali, but consider crossing the river to experience the real fun on the other side. The road from Bhadrak to Chandbali may not be in great shape, so an alternative is to drive to Dhamra and cross over by boat to stay in a resort there. If you prefer, you can also make Cuttack your base instead of Bhadrak. The time and cost to reach a resort near Dangmal from Cuttack are more or less the same as coming from Bhadrak. Another option is to start from Bhubaneswar or Cuttack and head to Khola, which is the main entrance point for exploring the forest by boat. The journey from Bhubaneswar to Khola is approximately 150 km, while from Cuttack, it's only 120 km and takes about three hours. Get ready to immerse yourself in the wonders of this enchanting region!
