For those traveling by road from Hyderabad, the recommended route is through Suryapet, Khammam, and Kothagudem. Buses are available from Vijayawada and other major towns in Andhra Pradesh, ensuring easy access to Bhadrachalam. If you prefer the comfort of train travel, you can catch the Secunderbad-Manuguru Superfast Express (Train No:17026) from Secunderabad Station. This train departs daily at 11:45 PM, arriving at Kothagudem, the closest station, at 04:25 AM. From Kothagudem, buses are readily available for the short journey to Bhadrachalam, with a bus fare of around Rs 20. When returning, the Link Secunderabad Express (Train No:0340) can be taken from Kothagudem, departing at 10:15 PM.
