Sanlitun, named after a street that stretches from north to south, holds the fascinating meaning of "Three Mile Village". Surrounded by foreign embassy districts, this vibrant area in Beijing is where the captivating nightlife scene first emerged. After exploring the wonders of Beijing, many visitors find themselves drawn to Sanlitun, enticed by its outstanding shopping, delectable restaurants, and thrilling nightlife. At the heart of the foreign nightlife in Beijing lies the renowned "bar street," divided into north and south sections. Additionally, there is a charming side street housing more laid-back and affordable bars, along with a few clubs and discotheques scattered throughout. Sanlitun has become legendary amongst travelers, offering a unique blend of charm and irritation. While you may encounter occasionally pushy bar-owners or knick-knack vendors, the treasures this district holds are equally enchanting.
