Get in
Located about 50 km north of Denpasar on a main route from South Bali to North Bali, Bedugul offers breathtaking views and plenty of activities to explore.
Getting to Bedugul is easy. Regular bemos depart from Batubulan terminal in Denpasar in the south, and from Singaraja in the north. If you prefer a more comfortable ride, you can reserve a bus from the Perama bus company in advance, either through their website or by phone call.
For visitors who want to fully experience the beauty of this mountain region, we recommend hiring a car and driver for the day. Choose a driver who knows the area well and agree on a price for the day in advance. Prices range from Rp 500,000 to 600,000, depending on the class of car. Keep in mind that car parking fees and entrance charges are not included in the price. It is always appreciated if you offer to buy the driver lunch as well.
If you're feeling adventurous, you can also rent your own car and drive up to Bedugul. Just make sure to bring a good map and don't hesitate to ask locals for directions if needed. Please note that reliable public transport from Munduk is only available in the morning, so plan accordingly.
