Are you ready for an extraordinary beach experience? To reach this hidden gem, you have a few options. For the adventurous souls, navigate through the National Park using an all-wheel-drive vehicle. Keep in mind that a regular 4-door sedan won't suffice for this off-road adventure; it's like embarking on an expedition through the Australian Outback! Alternatively, embark on a scenic boat ride to the beach. At the park entrance, indulge in a delicious meal at "La Cueva" restaurant (Spanish for "The Cave"). They offer boat services that will transport you to the beach at a reasonable price. Prepare for a thrilling 10-15 minute ride, surrounded by stunning coastal views. Feeling more budget-savvy? Opt for a motoconcho (mototaxi)! From Pedernales, hire a motoconcho that will speedily drive you directly to the beach. This exciting 45-minute ride will also save you the money you would spend on the boat trip. As your motoconcho zips through scenic landscapes, the journey becomes an adventure in itself. Reach Las Cuevas, where you'll pay the park's entrance fee ($100 pesos as of Feb17). Your motoconcho will then patiently wait for you as you soak up the sun and enjoy the picturesque beach. Don't worry about privacy, as they typically remain at the mirador to provide plenty of seclusion. Once you're ready to depart, they will take you back to Pedernales. Simply head to the motoconcho stop and ask for their services. This option offers an exhilarating and cost-effective way to experience the beach, with the added bonus of enjoying a thrilling motorcycle ride along the way!
