If you're planning to visit Altai Republic, the easiest way to get there is by taking a direct flight from Moscow to Gorno-Altaisk. There are regular flights twice a week, making it convenient for travelers. Alternatively, you can reach the town from Biysk, Barnaul, or Novosibirsk by bus or "marshrutka". Taking a taxi from Biysk is also a cost-effective option to consider.
