The bus ride takes approximately 4 and a half hours, allowing you to sit back, relax, and enjoy the scenic route. However, if you're starting your journey from Miskolc, be prepared for a slight change. Unfortunately, there are no direct buses from Miskolc to Aggtelek. You'll need to make a transfer, mostly at Kazincbarcika. Despite the change, the journey is still a breeze, taking about 2 hours (70km) with buses departing each hour. Feeling adventurous? Consider hitchhiking as an alternative option. It's a great way to save time, as it usually takes half the time compared to the bus. Your best bet is to head towards road 26 and catch a ride to Kazinc first. From there, you can either take the bus or continue your journey to Miskolc. With multiple transportation choices, getting to Aggtelek has never been easier. Choose the option that suits you best and get ready to explore the wonders of this remarkable destination!
